Our New Temple in Draper!

So last Thursday we did some fun things. Robert came home during lunch time and we went to the Draper Temple Open House. We had plans to go back in February but due to Joshua's bout with pneumonia, only half of our family was able to go.

So I was so excited for us all to go this time. It was nice to go in the middle of the day because the lines were not long. I got a little teary eyed as all my children walked through the temple with us.

I made my boys all promise me they would find a nice young woman and get married in the temple. Joshua told me he was going to marry Kenzie in the temple. I told him Kenzie was already married and he said he would marry her again! Kenzie told us Josh can marry her daughter. My other boys said that she better hurry and have one because Josh is almost four!

The temple is very beautiful. I especially like the bride's room that is done in my favorite colors blue and green. Actually the whole temple is done in these two colors every where that there isn't white or gold. I love it! I am so excited for it to open. We have tickets to the dedication at the temple. We plan on taking Christopher to the dedication with us. We will see what we end up doing because of the time involved in getting over there and how long we would be gone from Amberly and the other boys.

Wish we were there...but I am glad that I can read your perspective and other accounts of the Draper Temple open house.
