After seeing the exhibit, I took the boys to the BYU Bookstore and bought them BYU hats (Matthew wanted a basketball) and I got hair bows for Amberly. It was a lot of fun.
I loved watching all the college students smile at my brood. BYU is probably the only universities where the students would smile at a herd of children tromping across campus.
One guy just stopped and stared at us. I asked him what he was thinking and he said it made him homesick to watch us because he has three little brothers the same ages at home in Virginia.

I do enjoy taking my kids for fun little field trips. Off-track time can either be absolutely mundane and boring or it can be a lot of fun. I better make it a lot of fun because this is probably our last year with the track system. We just got word today that our school is going traditional next year (that is a whole other story), plus the fact that we will most likely go to a new charter school.
