Mom & Me School

I will try to add a photo tomorrow on this one. Josh & I are doing Mom & Me Preschool this year. I really love it. We rotate with 3 other moms (who all happen to be sisters). So every 4th week we have preschool at our house. We have a schedule and a theme for each week. This week we did Nursery Rhymes.

With all the illness we have had, I did not do a ton of prep for preschool this week. But that is what is so great about these little preschoolers, they are so easy going. Everything is fun and wonderful to them.

We read Nursery Rhymes and then roled played some of them. I tied a string to a fake spider and someone got to play the spider and another child was Little Miss Muffet, they sat on the back of the couch and got to fall down as Humpty Dumpty (what kid doesn't enjoy an invitation to climb on the furniture!), for Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, we covered a toy garden with a orange blanket and they took turns putting each other in the pumpkin shell.

A favorite was three blind mice, where three of the children were blind folded and had to crawl around on the floor to find the carver's wife. We also helped Little Bo Peep find her sheep and put the numbered sheep in order. We also did an egg rolling relay for Humpty Dumpty, too. One child nearly chucked the egg across the room with the spoon he was rolling it with. For a second there I thought I was going to have hard boiled egg all over my walls.

We did some cute crafts that the kids loved and I will have Joshua pose with those for a picture. So easy and fun and they just think it is all so wonderful!

I love the opportunity to have some special time with my little guy. We did this we Ethan and his friends and he still has such fond memories of it.

That sounds like so much fun. I am a bit sad that it didn't work out for us to join your preschool group- but we did find one here in TX. Still, we miss everyone in UT.

Matthew still has many found memories of Joy School too. :)

I really don't miss all the illnesses. You should think about moving to wamer weather.
