Finally A Slow Week

So the last month of April was actually manageble. During the week, I caught up with an old friend, Sherron Taylor. She lived in our neigborhood and moved to Georgia about three years ago. They moved back to Utah about 2 years ago and now live in Riverton. It was so nice to visit with her. She came over on Wednesday and we went down to the park with our kids (my oldest two were still at school). The kids had a fabulous time together and we had a great visit. I get frustrated with allowing myself to get so busy that I don't have any time for friends like this, so this was an extra great day!

I also did some volunteering at the school. We had our last lunch reward that Friday for 75% AR. The idea of these lunch rewards was to keep everyone on track throughout the year so we didn't have everyone struggling to hurry and get to 100% at the very end. So any students who had achieved 75% AR by May 30, got an Otter Pop during lunch. So I spent the week getting all the lists together as to who should get the lunch reward. Then on Friday, I did the morning AR awards and also did the Otter Pop handouts at lunch.

Also on Friday, Robert went with his friend, Larry, to see "Wolverine." I was a little jealous that he went without me. But when he came home, I got to go to Provo and catch up with my TwilightMOMs friends who had all attended Women's Conference at BYU. It was extremely therupeutic.
